Ellsworth Says Carson Brings Needed Law Enforcement Experience to Congress
Indianapolis - André Carson, Democratic Candidate for Congress in Indiana's 7th District, today held a community safety press conference with Indiana Congressman Brad Ellsworth and Marion County Sheriff Frank Anderson. At the press conference, Ellsworth and Anderson voiced their support for Carson's candidacy and discussed how Carson's service in law enforcement gives him the experience and understanding needed to make our communities safer.
"André Carson has a unique understanding of the crime problems faced by Indianapolis and will work for solutions to keep our families secure," said Congressman Ellsworth. "I believe a background in law enforcement allows you to truly understand what the men and women who keep us safe need to protect our communities. I know Andre will work across party lines to make sure we get our law enforcement officers what they deserve."
